The Isle of Arran Community Council is pleased to confirm that it will receive an annual index linked fund of approx £25,000* from ScottishPower Renewables’ Beinn an Tuirc 3 Windfarm, Community Benefit Fund.

The fund will be awarded three times a year, with a funding cycle budget of around £8300. It is anticipated that the fund will be available for 25 years and the Community Council will be able to use it to support diverse local initiatives. Sums approaching or exceeding the full amount per cycle (or year) will be considered but are more likely to be successful if split over several funding cycles with staged project goals.
