Brodick Improvements Committee
Brodick Improvements Committee has 16 members and meets approximately every two months or when necessary. The Committee was formed over 11 years ago. The Committee meets at the Ormidale Hotel. BIC is a limited company, limited by guarantee and most of the members are directors. The Chairman is Harry Davidson, Bill Calderwood is the Secretary and Kenny Morrison is the Company Treasurer. If anyone has local issues or suggestions to raise, please contact the Chairman or Secretary or any member of BIC. The minutes of the meetings of BIC are deposited in Brodick Library.
Corrie & Sannox Village Committee
Corrie and Sannox Village Committee meet once a month in the village hall on the first Thursday of each month at 7.30pm and alternately 10.30 am. The committee organises socials, maintains the hall, looks after the Viking boat which is moored in Corrie Port and generally keeps an eye on the local environment. The chairman is Jim Lees of Cir Mhor, Sannox.
Corrie and Sannox Village Committee have been occupied with a big project to have airsource heat pumps fitted to the village hall. This is grant assisted and is matched by voluntary labour of locals who will insulate the loft and strip outer walls and insulate them. The pumps are now in place and working.
Kildonan Village

Kilmory Village Hall and Bunkhouse

Lamlash Improvements Association
Chair: Timothy Billings; Treasurer: Alastair Forsyth; Secretary: Shared Role.
Lamlash Improvemenst Association meets on the second Thursday of each month in Lamlash Fire station at 7:30pm. It has a wide variety of social and community activities which involve all ages and interests.
Lochranza and Catacol
Lochranza and Catacol have thriving communities with mixed age ranges and various activities. These include a choir, art group, badminton sessions and carpet bowls in winter months and the very popular 'coffee mornings' twice weekly. Catacol usually have summer ceilidhs in the summer months. In Lochranza the newly organised 9 hole golf course is now open.
The Village Hall Committee meets on the first Tuesday evening of each month in the village hall at 7.30pm. Any enquiries involving the hall and village events should be made to Kate Hartley on 830226.
Pirnmill Village Association
Meets once a month, chairperson Campbell Laing plus 9 committee members.
Shiskine Valley
The Shiskine Valley has a strong sense of community.
The Shiskine Valley Area incorporates Shiskine, Blackwaterfoot and Machrie.
